3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by DomainFactory GmbH, c/o WeWork, Neuturmstraße 5, 80331 München, Germany, and Render Services, Inc., 525 Brannan Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Depending on the page you visit, it is delivered by one of them.

When you visit this site, the respective provider automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser, including IP address, date and time of access, requested page, browser type, operating system, and referrer URL, in server log files. This processing is based on my legitimate interest in the secure and reliable delivery of this website, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short period.

Processing by DomainFactory takes place within the European Union on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. As Render is a US company, data may be transferred to the United States; this transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses concluded with Render. All fonts on this website are self-hosted. No connection to Google or other third-party font services is established when you visit this site.

If you contact me by email or through the contact form, the data you provide, name, email address, and message, is processed solely to handle your inquiry, based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a contract. This data is deleted once your inquiry is resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Email sent to legal@kiwitz.com is received via mail servers operated by DomainFactory GmbH.
